Hollywood produces great movie, but they don’t always tell the truth even it is based on ‘true stories’. There thousands or even billions movie that Hollywood has produced.This is because they maybe want to protect one's dignity.

Hollywood is one of the biggest movie industry the world has ever known, Hollywood producers has made great movies from fiction to stories that are based on true events, but some of the movies that are created which are based on True Stories or Events that have occurred are not always 100% the true, in some of the movies created in Hollywood some of the events and characters did even occur neither exist because some producer likes to makes certain adjustment to the original story to catch audience attention. 

For example in the award winning movie Braveheart which tells the story of an old Scottish hero William Wallace that fights for freedom and independence for his people.

That movie was criticized by many because the movie did not quite tell the truth as the real events that went down in William Wallace’s story. So in my opinion movies that are based on true stories or true event should not be too criticized or taken too seriously for not telling the whole truth of the story, because at the end of the day it is just a movie which has been acted out.

I believe that it is the given rights for Hollywood producers to have the full authority to change or adjust a few bits of the story so that it would catch more audience attention and have a more interesting twist to it.
